Australian Plants Society of SA Brinkworth Area Group

The Brinkworth group is part of the Australian Plants Society of South Australia.(Opens in a new page)

The Brinkworth Australian Plants Society Group meets monthly from February through to November and meetings are held usually in the Brinkworth Hall Supper Room on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Tea meetings begin at 6.30 pm and meetings without a meal beforehand at 8pm unless a field trip has been arranged which is usually on a Sunday afternoon.

Meetings include topics such as propagating plants, waterwise gardens, wattles, eucalypts to name a few and we have many varied, highly qualified and interesting speakers. Australian plants are ultimately the reason for the group meeting and furthering their knowledge on these and other interesting subjects.

Members usually meet somewhere special for a camp each year usually for about 5 days sometime in between July and October

The Brinkworth APS Group is a very friendly, caring group who love to identify plants and enjoy their time together whilst learning some valuable information on Australian plants. Anyone is most welcome to come to any of our meetings or field trips.

Quandongs (native peach) are a common site along Brinkworth back roads.
